I used worsted weight cotton in different colours to make this cloth. It is preferrable to have enough to finish the two rows in the pattern. Change colours when you are finished with previous two colors. You can make this as long as you like

Materials: Scraps of left over yarn
Needle: Size 7 (4.5 mm)
Contrasting colour thread to single crochet around cloth.
Do not break yarn take it up the side of work.
Change colors every two rows until you run out of the colors you are using. Loop another colour around needle and continue until you have done two rows with those colours. Then loop another colour and work another two rows. Continue until you run out of these two colours.
Row 1: (WS) Knit
Row 2: K1, *p1, k1 across end k1.
Scrap Yarn Dishcloth:
Cast on 38 stitches and work above 2 rows changing colors every two rows until cloth is long enough. Cast off.
Using cc of your choice single crochet all around cloth working 3 single crochet in corners. Slip stitch in first single crochet.
