22, 4oz Skeins of off white worsted weight wool yarn.
2 skeins of contrasting color Lopi or mohair for the border trim.
Stitch holder (3), Stitch markers (about 6).
Needle for Kitchner stitch invisible weaving.
Gauge: Using three strands of worsted weight held together on needles, 9 Stitches and 15 Rows = 4 inches.

Sleeve at underarm to cuff = 21inches (53 cm)
Sleeve from top of shoulder to cuff = 33 inches (84 cm)

Belt width = 6 stitches (this will naturally roll)
Weight finished: Approximately 5.5
Starting at bottom of robe, with one strand Lopi and two strands of worsted wool held together, and
a size 10.5 circular needle, cast on 116 st. loosely. Knit 5 rows of seed stitch. Row 1, K1 P1, repeat to end of row. Row 2, P1 K1, repeat to end of row. Repeat rows
1 and 2 until there are 5 rows of seed stitch for the border.
using three strands of off white knitting worsted wool held together, knit stockinet stitch until 55 rows, 15.5 inches ( 39 cm) from cast on.
Mark the center of the back, and center of the front.
Mark the left and right edges of the robe. Decrease for shaping bottom to waist:
starting at center of back, k26, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog,
k50, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog, k26. 112 stitches.
Knit 9 rows even, then repeat this decrease every 10th row, 8 more times. After the 136th row and last decrease, you will have 80 stitches. 34 inches (86 cm) at the waist. Knit 11 rows even.
Increase for shaping bust:
Row 148, starting at center of back, k17, inc1, k3, inc1, k36, inc1, k3, inc1, k17. 84 stitches. Repeat this increase row every fourth row, two more times. 92
stitches. 42″ (104 cm) Knit 24 rows even and place body on a stitch holder.
Row 179, locate markers for each side and starting at center of back, k18, place next 10 st on a holder, k36, place next 10 st on a holder, k18.
Starting at the cuff, using one strand of Lopi and two strands of off white worsted wool held together on needle, loosely cast on 48 stitches. 21 inches (53 cm).
Work 5 rows of seed stitch as in hem of body. Row 6, knit stockinet stitch on 48 st until row 85 from cast on. 21 inches (53 cm)
place 10 st on a holder for later underarm weaving to the body with the Kitchner stitch.
Make a second sleeve as above.
Join sleeves to body:
Row 87 of sleeves and 180 of body, starting at center back of body, k18 from back of body, k38 from one sleeve, k36 from front of body, k38 from second sleeve,
k18 from back of body. Knit two more rows even. 148 stitches.
Raglan decrease and front neck opening:
starting at center of back, k15, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog,
k30, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog, k15, add new yarn for neck opening, k15, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog, k30, k2 tog, k3, k2 tog, k15. 140 stitches.
Repeat decrease every fourth row 11 more times. 48 stitches and 227 rows from cast on of body.
Knit 48 st even for 38 more rows. 265 rows total from cast on of body. Place 24 st on one stitch holder. Place remaining 24 st on a second stitch holder. Use
Kitchner stitch to weave an invisable seam along top of hood.
Pick up 120 stitches on front edge of hood and using two strands of off white worsted wool with one strand of Lopi, knit 5 rows of seed stitch for a border.
Use Kitchner stitch to weave invisible seams on the 10 stitches under each sleeve.
Cast on 6 stitches, knit 360 rows 96 inches (243 cm) or longer if desired.
